Our mission is to provide affordable clothing, household items, and furniture to the community. Here at the Lions Den we believe we have done that. We also offer the option for people to bring in an exchange of clothes, housethings, and ornaments; to further reduce their cost by up to 50%. Example: A pair of womens jeans would be four dollars, and with your exchange, your actual cost would be two dollars.

WHAT KIND OF THINGS DOES THE LIONS DEN ACCEPT AS DONATIONS?

Because we pay for all expenses including the dump, we have to ask, that all exchanges and donations be quality items, that you would use in your own home, please nothing broken or not working. All kitchen appliances need to be newer, in good repair, nothing with old cloth covered cords, or broken cords... as these, are more likely to start electrical fires.

No old plastics cups and scratched up bowls, as people do not want things like that. The teflon cookware cannot be scratched up. Did you know that teflon cookware that is all scratched up releases a toxic substance, that is very unhealthy to people? Clothes must be clean and stain free, folded nicely in a box or bag, we do not have time to deal with wrinkled and dirty clothes.

HOW DO I GET MY DONATIONS, TO YOU?

See the direction link, at the top of the page. (Do not leave donations outside.) Just give us a call, and let us know that your coming.

    "The Name"
Lots of people have asked the question. How did you come upon the name Lions Den? If you remember the story of Daniel in the lions den, it was about Daniel, he really loved God and was very faithful to him, when Daniel was facing the hardest time in his life, God was there to protect him and to care for him. So when people who are going through the hard times in life, they should know that God really does care, and provide. And with his help the Lions Den was formed to help you. Remember that God is just a prayer away, and he is there for you always.
